Would you like to practice and improve your language skills in conversation with students from other countries in Europe? Join us in the Language Café! As part of the pan-European EUTOPIA project, we organise virtual meetings with foreign language students from different universities across Europe.
The Language Café is a great opportunity to get to know other cultures, meet your distant colleagues who may become new close friends, and at the same time practise your conversational skills in French, German, Italian, Spanish or English. The Language Café will take place on the following dates:
- Monday, 18 November, 17:00 - English & French
- Tuesday, 19 November, 13:00 - French & German
- Wednesday, 20 November, 17:00 - Italian & Spanish
- Thursday, 21 November, 13:00 - English & Spanish
All virtual meetings are held via MS Teams. Conversations will be recorded, anonymised and transcribed for research purposes only.
Only a limited number of students will be able to participate, depending on the language (1st come 1st served basis). Late-registered students will be invited to join in the next event.
To apply, please fill in the form here. Links to the meetings follow after registration.
The event is organised by the EUTOPIA Learning Community "Text and Discourse Analysis". The contact person for the Learning Community is Florian Klauser (florian.klauser@ff.uni-lj.si)
