About the Doctoral School
As a joint organisational unit of the University of Ljubljana, the Doctoral School ensures the quality of doctoral studies and the visibility of our University in the Slovenian and global higher education landscape. It links doctoral programmes through the management of the Council of Doctoral Programmes' Coordinators, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary networking, ensuring and implementing doctoral study standards, networking with other universities and scientific research institutions, and providing training and organising networking events for doctoral students and professors in doctoral studies. It also cooperates with the Commission for Doctoral Studies and the Senate of the University of Ljubljana.
The Head of the UL Doctoral School for the period 2021–2025 is prof. dr. Tatjana Marvin Derganc.
