Among its other activities, the University of Ljubljana is actively involved in building and reshaping the European Higher Education Area, which includes:

One of the key instruments for achieving the associated objectives is the ambitious European Universities initiative in the scope of the ERASMUS+ programme. At the end of 2018, the University of Ljubljana joined EUTOPIA – European University Alliance, which today connects 10 European universities, which together create an open, diverse and multicultural higher education space.
