EUTOPIA Connected Learning Community "Europe in the World" annual Simulation Exercise on the EU “Chat Control” Regulation

Students are invited to take part in annual Simulation Exercise on the EU “Chat Control” Regulation, to be held on 19-20 January 2026. Deadline for application is December 1, 2025.

Registration form (in English)The virtual simulation exercise is part of the Vrije University Brussels' winter school on EU policy making.
To prepare for the simulation exercise, participants will be given access to the Canvas platform, through which all further communication will also take place. As part of the preparations for the virtual simulation exercise, participants will be assigned roles on the basis of which they will have to prepare an initial political position (1–2 pages). An informative meeting on the preparation and implementation of the simulation exercise will be held on Wednesday, December 17, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and is mandatory for registered participants.
Participants will receive a certificate of participation.
