Registration for EUCI training for employees

The training is conducted in English. The registration form (in English) can be found at the link below.

Registration form

The EUCI program is being offered for the first time this year to employees in collaboration with universities within the EUTOPIA Alliance. A limited number of spots are available for the current academic year (2025/26). The certificate does not directly award ECTS credits.

Activities

To complete the EUCI, you should have participated in a range of international activities. As a guideline, we recommend at least 30 hours of activities, but you should discuss this with the programme convenor to find the right approach for you.

Eligible activities might include:

  • Opportunities to study or work abroad
  • Study programmes with an international focus
  • One-off events or workshops you attended in another country
  • Language-learning experiences
  • International activities you engaged in during your time at school, or on a previous degree programme

Please contact the programme convenor, Lewis Beer lewis.beer@warwick.ac.uk, to discuss the eligibility of your international activities.

Seminars

To support your reflective practice and your compilation of a reflective portfolio, you will be able to attend four online 90-minute seminars in which you can discuss your international experiences with your fellow students, and with the guidance of EUTOPIA tutors. These virtual seminars will run between April 7 and May 1.

Seminars will be held on two time slots, from which only one should be selected:

  • Tuesday, 10:00-11:30,
  • Friday, 17:00-18:30.

Reflective Portfolio

To demonstrate your international learning, you will compile a reflective portfolio which can include essays, artworks, and multimedia elements such as a video diary. It is expected that your portfolio will amount to roughly 2000 words (or equivalent).

In your portfolio, you will be expected to fulfil the following two learning outcomes:

  • Reflective: reflect deeply on the issues discussed, measuring personal development and considering multiple points of view.
  • Intercultural: demonstrate awareness of relations between different national cultures and languages, and the ability to reflect on these.

To get a better overview of what the portfolio should look like, you can consult portfolios of previous students on the link.

Please note that the EUCI is facilitated through a collaboration between all the universities of the EUTOPIA Alliance. The application form is located on the University of Warwick website, but expressions of interest may be reviewed by members of staff from any of the EUTOPIA partners.

If your portfolio achieves a 'pass' grade, you will be awarded the EUTOPIA Certificate of Internationalisation.
