International Research Culture Consortium Workshop

The University of Warwick (United Kingdom), Monash University (Australia), and Stellenbosch University (South Africa)—with which the University of Ljubljana collaborates within the EUTOPIA Alliance—are organiziring a second workshop of the International Consortium on Research Culture. The aim of the workshop is to deepen the shared understanding of research culture in various institutional, national, and regional contexts. This workshop, jointly organized by Monash University Australia and Monash University Malaysia, will focus on the role of research culture in Southeast Asia and comparative perspectives from South Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. The workshop is free of charge; registration is required by April 19.

Registration formThrough structured reflection and discussion, Workshop 2 aims to:
- reflect on areas of resonance and tension identified in Workshop 1;
- explore similarities and differences in how research culture is understood and enacted across contexts, including through case studies from Southeast Asia;
- identify priority tensions, questions, and areas for continued exploration, and;
- inform preparation for the Consortium’s next phase, including a forthcoming in-person workshop.
