The summer school consists of six intensive modules, each of which includes at least two sessions dedicated to a central theme:

  • Health Data for Research and Innovation: Balancing Progress and Privacy,
  • Cybersecurity in Healthcare: Safeguarding Innovation,
  • AI and Intellectual Property in Healthcare: Navigating Governance and Liability,
  • Mental Health and Well-Being: Ethical Design and Regulation,
  • Medical Technology Design and Development: From Innovation to Market,
  • Resilience in Public Health: Preparing for Future Crises.

This structure ensures a deep dive into the most critical issues at the intersection of innovation and rights, providing participants with actionable insights and a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Application and admission

Apply for the summer school by April 30 using the form on the summer school website, along with a letter of motivation (up to 400 words) and a CV in EUROPASS format. The tuition fee for the school is 750 euros for master’s and doctoral students, and 1,000 euros for others. The tuition fee covers all courses and study materials but does not include accommodation and meals.
