We invite you to join our online workshop, where we will explore how the Copilot Chat can support the creation of teaching materials. Through guided activities, you will create a specific resource for your subject, enhance it with features that support student learning or assessment, and prepare it for immediate use in teaching.

This is a self-paced, asynchronous online workshop which you can start at any time after the date stated above. You can progress through the workshop at your own pace and revisit individual sections as needed.

  • Scope of activities: you are expected to need 6 teaching hours to complete the activities.

Why join?

The Copilot Chat can assist with preparing teaching content, drafting assignment instructions and planning learning activities. Its greatest value lies not in creating content in place of the teacher, but in providing support for structuring ideas, preparing drafts and refining materials.

In this microMOOC, you will explore some common scenarios for using Copilot Chat in the teaching process through practical examples, and test its capabilities on the materials you actually need for your course.

Aims of the workshop

This online workshop was created with a few key objectives in mind:

  • To present ways in which the Chatbot’s Copilot can be used when preparing teaching materials.
  • To guide participants from an initial idea through to the creation of a specific teaching resource.
  • To encourage the enhancement of materials with elements that support student learning or assessment.
  • To enable the creation of materials that can be used directly in teaching.
