OIC at TUD: Patents in Search of New Business

Excellence Center for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship at the Dresden University of Technology (TUD|excite) is preparing an open innovation challenge within a summer school format. It will be open to all early-career researchers: master's graduate or about to graduate, doctoral student or postdoctoral researcher). Deadline for application is May 20.

Application is possible until May 20. Candidates will be informed about the selection by July. The application from is in English and in German.
Apply hereMaster graduates, PhD candidates and postdocs will collaborate in international and interdisciplinary teams with inventors, entrepreneurs and innovation experts from the TU Dresden ecosystem and other universities from EUTOPIA and DRESDENconcept.
Participants will work with selected university patents, develop product ideas and business models, and pitch their concepts to an external jury at the end of the program.

Who can apply?
The Open Innovation Challenge is open to students in the final stages of their master’s programs, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers with a background in the natural sciences or engineering. Applications may be submitted as a group (three members).
