We invite you to the International Brass Symposium and Masterclasses at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana.
The symposium and masterclasses led by leading brass musicians and renowned teachers at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana, constitute an intensive artistic and educational gathering aimed at music students, young professional musicians and teachers. Through individual lessons, group workshops, public lectures and concert performances, the event will facilitate the direct transfer of world-class artistic practices, contemporary interpretative approaches and teaching methods into the higher education music sector.

The programme will focus on the development of interpretation, technical mastery, orchestral and chamber music performance, the musician’s psychophysical preparation, and artistic communication with the audience. Particular emphasis will be placed on linking artistic practice with reflection on pedagogical approaches, which will contribute to enhancing the quality of the study programme and the professional preparation of students.
