University of Ljubljana hosts two international Erasmus+ staff trainings

In the last week of March, two simultaneous international trainings will take place for professional staff working in the field of the Erasmus+ Programme. Around 80 from 46 universities and 27 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia will be participating, half of them from EUTOPIA member universities.

In the dynamic environment of modern higher education, continuous professional development is crucial. Erasmus+ staff training is a great opportunity to broaden horizons, acquire new knowledge and skills, and establish valuable international connections. By participating in this program, participants not only upgrade their professional competencies, but also develop intercultural understanding, which is indispensable in a globalised world. This training encourages the exchange of international best practices, innovative ideas and modern approaches, which directly contributes to raising the quality of work.
In the first part, participants will learn about the University of Ljubljana, the EUTOPIA Alliance and what the future Erasmus+ programme period 2028-2034 brings. In the second part, they will continue with specialised workshops in the field of Erasmus+ mobility and Erasmus+ projects.
The diverse and extensive programme will bring together 61 international participants from Europe, Africa and Asia. Among the participants will be 28 representatives of EUTOPIA Alliance from NOVA University Lisbon, University of Gothenburg, Babeș-Bolyai University, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Pompeu Fabra University, University of Warwick, Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Dresden University of Technology. In addition to the latter, representatives of EUTOPIA global partners from Kyungpook National University, Stellenbosch University and International University of Rabat will also be present.
The event is organised by experts from the University of Ljubljana who work in the field of the Erasmus+ programme and come from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, the Biotechnical Faculty, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Social Work, the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Education and the Rectorate – the University Office for International Cooperation and the Project Office.
