Eutopia MORE Universities and the Rectors' Forum of South-Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans on internationalisation strategy

On 12 and 13 June 2023, the first workshop on internationalisation strategy was held at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica, in the framework of the European Association of Universities Eutopia More and the Rectors' Forum of South-Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans. The workshop was also attended by the Rector of the University of Ljubljana, Prof. Dr. Gregor Majdič.
At the workshop, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia, the University of Montenegro, the University of Warwick and the University of Ljubljana presented the internationalisation strategy, the approach to establishing international partnerships, participation in international programmes, networks and associations, promotional and support activities for international students, examples of good practice and the challenges they face.
The second day was devoted to a workshop on the preparation of an internationalisation strategy, which provided participants with an overview of the methodology, visioning, objectives and strategic activities that will help them to prepare or update their internationalisation strategy and to monitor and evaluate its implementation. The workshop was attended by representatives of the University of Montenegro, the University of Sarajevo, the University of Mostar, the University of Rijeka, Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" University and Bernardo O'Higgins University.
