UNI.MINDS Festival 2024 is here!

Join us at this year's UNI.MINDS, Slovenia's largest festival for building innovation community, which will take place from 14-22 October 2024.

The UNI.MINDS Festival, now in its fifth consecutive year, is Slovenia's premier event for fostering innovation communities and partnerships between academia and industry. Held under the auspices of "Science Month" and supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, the festival's primary objective is to facilitate networking and relationship-building to create groundbreaking innovations collaboratively. Free bus transport will be organised for participants attending events held outside Ljubljana.

Opening event at the UL Faculty of Administration and tour of the laboratories at the UL Faculty of Economics
For researchers and students in the humanities, social sciences and arts, as well as for industry representatives interested in the societal impact of research. We will also visit the laboratories of School of Economics and Business for the study of human behaviour and financial information.

Visiting Hidria and Lisjak Oil Mill (organized transportation)
For all those interested in innovations in automotive and industrial technology, sustainable technologies, green mobility, as well as innovations in agriculture, the food processing industry, and agronomy. We will take a closer look at the company Hidria, as it is one of the leading international companies in the field of innovative automotive and industrial technologies. Lisjak Olive Mill will also present how they produce the so-called "green gold" and how they are improving their overall offerings and work processes.

Biotechnology Summit: Lek's Day for researchers and visting NIB
For researchers and students interested in biotechnology, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, medicine, food production, genetics, biology, microbiology, computer science and related sciences. The event will provide insights into the latest trends and opportunities for collaboration in the field of biotechnology. A tour of the NIB's Biotechnological Hub will also be organized.

Visiting UM FGPA and Marles (organized transportation)
