In the first part of the meeting, Prof. Dr Stephen Broad from the University of Glasgow, along with Davinia Galea and Maria Frenda from the University of Malta, addressed the students. A roundtable discussion followed, featuring representatives of the students, the Doctoral School, the International Relations Office, and the University's Career Centres. This discussion provided doctoral students with valuable insights and resources to support their research journey, the successful completion of their studies, and future career development.

In the second part of the meeting, Dr Ajda Pretnar Žagar from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana delivered a lecture on choosing the right IT tools for research. Meanwhile, colleagues from the University's international relations offices, the Project Office, and the US Embassy in Slovenia presented opportunities for collaboration within international networks and associations, including the European University Alliance – EUTOPIA, as well as the Erasmus+ and Fulbright programmes.

The meeting concluded with a musical performance by the Inuaria Flute Quartet and the RAVI piano duo, followed by informal socialising and networking in the Academy’s lobby.
