University of Ljubljana wins Netko 1st prize for the best website of a public or non-governmental organisation

Along with the first prize in the category of best website of a public or non-governmental organisation, the University of Ljubljana (UL) also won second prize in the category of best website of an educational and scientific organisation. The prizes were received by the UL Vice Rector for Art, Prof. Matjaž Drevenšek, and the head of the project and chief editor, Peter Jenko, with the Innovatif agency team.
The new University of Ljubljana website was launched on 15 April 2024, with a completely redesigned tree structure and responsive web design that aligns with the new corporate identity and web accessibility standards. The website has 40 editors who adhere to the editorial rules in ensuring that content is up to date, high-quality, relevant and accessible.
The Netko prize is awarded by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and its aim is to promote excellence in web use as a communication and business tool and to increase quality and innovation in online solutions. The prize represents an important part of the Slovenian online identity, offering professional recognition and support for the creativity and imagination of web project creators in the country.
