It also approved the Business Report along with the UL Quality Assurance Report for 2024.

Additionally, the Senate adopted a decision for the University Medical Centre (UMC) Ljubljana to become an associated UL member institution, thereby contributing to the quality of education at the University. By joining the UL, UMC Ljubljana will support the development of study programmes and research in the field of health care and enable even closer integration between educational and health care activities.

The Senate also adopted the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic year. The calendar was prepared in accordance with the Higher Education Act, the Statutes of the University of Ljubljana, and the Public Holidays and Work-off Days in the Republic of Slovenia Act.

Furthermore, the UL Senate adopted a resolution expressing support for the Serbian university students engaged in peaceful protests.

The Senate also approved the general conditions for the payment of tuition fees for study programmes at the University of Ljubljana, as well as the Business Report and Quality Assurance Report for 2024. Both documents are still pending approval by the UL Governing Board.
