A new Information center "Info tujci" has opened its doors at Tržaška cesta 21 in Ljubljana, which is aimed for third-country nationals who are studying, working and living in Slovenia.
There you can find information about healthcare, education, social rights, temporary residence permits in Slovenia and learn more about Slovenia, its way of life and its culture.
The centre will be open three times a week:
- Monday and Friday: 9am to 12pm,
- Wednesday: 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.
If you need an interpreter to facilitate communication, please make an appointment in advance.
Visitors who require additional information are referred to relevant institutions, such as ministries, administrative bodies, the employment service, the employment advice centre and other non-governmental organisations.
The establishment of the centre is an important step towards institutionalising support for foreign workers and students and relieving the burden on other public services. There are plans to set up similar centres in other Slovenian cities, in the future if the need arises.
