University of Ljubljana at the Study in Europe fair in Tirana

Together with other Slovenian public universities, in cooperation with the Study in Slovenia initiative, the University of Ljubljana presented study opportunities at the Study in Europe fair in Tirana, Albania, on October 11, 2025. The event, attended by many high school and university students, aimed to promote European universities and study abroad options.
During the fair, we presented study opportunities at all three levels, as well as option for exchanges. What impressed the candidates most were the benefits available to students in Slovenia and the excellent programs in almost all fields of study, that University of Ljubljana offer. Although they were most interested in programs taught in English, we also introduced the Year Plus program and the opportunity to learn Slovenian, which they found very interesting and described as something that would greatly ease the start of studies for international students.
The Study in Slovenia team also presented these opportunities at the Embassy of Slovenia in Tirana. We thank Ambassador Jakob Štunf and the entire embassy team for this opportunity and hope that, in the future, there will be more chances to introduce Albanian students to the possibilities offered by this green, safe, and interesting study destination, such as Slovenia.
