The meeting focused on potential cooperation between the University of Ljubljana and the National Museum of China in the fields of heritage science, archaeology and other areas, such as the development and use of artificial intelligence tools in these and related areas.

Both institutions agreed to begin preparing a cooperation agreement to formalise this collaboration, including joint research projects and student and staff exchanges. This will represent the first such partnership between the National Museum of China and a university outside China, underscoring the international recognition and excellence of the University of Ljubljana.
