The University of Ljubljana, with more than 7,000 researchers, is the largest research institution in Slovenia. There is certainly no shortage of achievements we can be proud of. But which was the most interesting in 2025? The choice is yours!
Svoj glas oddate preprosto: povezavo do izbrane novice prilepite v komentar pod objavo na Facebook strani Univerze v Ljubljani, Instagram profilu Univerze v Ljubljani ali na našem LinkedIn profilu.
Glasovanje poteka do petka, 16. januarja 2026, do 13. ure. Najbolj priljubljeno raziskovalno novico bomo razglasili v ponedeljek, 20. januarja 2026.
Med vsemi sodelujočimi bomo izžrebali tri nagrajence, ki prejmejo pulover Univerze v Ljubljani (na vsakem omrežju bomo izbrali enega nagrajenca).

In 2025, we collected 49 research achievements from various scientific fields – ranging from breakthrough discoveries and innovative solutions to new perspectives on the world we live in.

Casting your vote is simple: paste the link to your chosen news item into a comment under the post on the Facebook page of the University of Ljubljana, the Instagram profile of the University of Ljubljana, or on our LinkedIn profile.
Voting runs until Friday, 16 January 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The most popular research news will be announced on Monday, 20 January 2026.
Among all participants, three winners will be drawn, each receiving a University of Ljubljana sweatshirt (one winner will be selected on each social network).
