About the programme

The programme will be open for enrolment for the academic year 2027/2028.

The main aim of the higher professional study programme in Midwifery is to train professionals in reproductive healthcare, including prenatal, perinatal, postnatal, and gynaecological care.

The study programme covers all aspects of the contemporary definition of midwifery. The study programme is modular and comprises five major professional pillars: (1) family planning, reproduction, and pregnancy; (2) childbirth; (3) the postnatal period; (4) care of the newborn and the family; and (5) care of women with gynaecological diseases and women in perimenopause and menopause.
