About the programme

The aim of the master study programme Physiotherapy is to qualify advanced specialists who are able to apply up-to-date scientific evidence-based methods in targeted, organised and professional treatment of health conditions and perform the most demanding tasks in planning, organising, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the physiotherapy processes at all levels of health care within a multidisciplinary team.

They contribute to discipline development and the development and quality of the national health system. They are actively involved in health promotion and health education, and act as researchers and habilitated teachers. The programme is based on international achievements in fundamental and applied interdisciplinary sciences and technologies and provides knowledge in specific domains of physiotherapy profession.

The study lasts two years and comprises lectures, seminars, and laboratory practice.

The candidates have to provide evidence of Slovenian language skills proficiency at level B2 of Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR).
