About the programme

Graduates of the professional bachelor study programme Physiotherapy apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and skills in the development, maintenance and restoration of movement as well as functional abilities of individuals of all ages.

The aim of the programme is to empower the graduates to autonomously devise and execute physiotherapy processes, to use holistic approach in the treatment of individuals whose movement and functional ability have been threatened, limited, affected or deteriorated due to a disease or injury, and to critically evaluate, analyse and solve problems, adopting the scientific and research-based approach.

The programme includes knowledge from the field of anatomy, functional anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, neurophysiology, clinical medicine, and fields of physiotherapy. The study comprises lectures, seminars, seminar practice, and laboratory and clinical practice.

The candidates have to provide evidence of Slovenian language skills proficiency at level B2 of Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR).
