About the programme

The objectives of the professional bachelor study programme Radiologic technology are to educate a professional to qualify in diagnostic and interventional, nuclear medicine and radiotherapeutic technology.

The first study year introduces general knowledge of natural and social sciences which present the basis for discipline-specific subjects. These courses are followed by the basics of conventional diagnostic radiologic technology which are studied in more detail in subsequent study years. In the second and third study years the students acquire the knowledge of nuclear medicine and radiotherapy.

Each theoretical instruction unit is followed by practical training where the students apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to practical experience, increase their understanding of theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills. The programme consists of lectures, seminars and seminar practice (78% ECTS), and practical training (laboratory practice, clinical practice and clinical training (22% ECTS).

The candidates have to provide evidence of Slovenian language skills proficiency at level B2 of Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR).
