About the programme

The double-track second-cycle program in Russian Studies trains highly qualified graduates with a wide range of competencies and an in-depth knowledge of Russian culture, who can communicate competently in Russian in written and oral form and are able to establish communication between people of different cultures and languages. The program builds on the first cycle of the Russian Studies program and prepares students for complex, demanding, and creative challenges in the areas of linguistics and text analysis, as well as in cultural and intercultural areas.
Graduates of the Teaching program are qualified to teach, plan, and implement the most demanding activities in a wide range of school and extracurricular activities. They are also employable as Russian instructors at language education institutions.
Graduates of the Translation and Cultural Studies programs are qualified to carry out research and professional work in the fields of public administration, business, culture, and diplomacy, and perform other jobs requiring in-depth knowledge of the Russian language and culture.
