The purpose of the project is to offer the students of University of Ljubljana to enrol in a new specialized course on collective redress mechanisms in the EU. The course will be performed by top Slovenian experts (professors, a judge and a legal practitioner) who have been intensively involved this filed of law as well as in the drafting of the CAA and its amendments of 2022/23 for the purposes of transposing Directive 2020/2028 into Slovenian law. Existent university curriculum does not cover these topics and having regard to the ever growing use of collective actions in Slovenia and elsewhere in the EU in practice, it is important that the students are equipped with knowledge on these procedural mechanisms and the rationale behind them.
