Product Hackathons for Innovative Development

Pro Hackin' has two main objectives: to improve teaching and learning methods in engineering education and to strengthen industry-university collaboration. This project will develop a methodology to foster open innovation between universities and companies. This will be achieved through the implementation of so-called product hackathons. We aim to find the most appropriate tools that are easy to use and quick to learn. In addition, they should support effective collaboration in physical and virtual environments to enable companies to engage participants working remotely from all over the world. To address these concerns, this project will explore different digital technologies, in particular virtual prototyping, conceptualisation and collaboration tools, in order to identify which are best suited for use.
