The proposed project aims to develop and implement module focusing on European Youth Policy for students of social sciences (political science, sociology, communication studies, journalism) for two main reasons. Firstly, the students for whom the course modules are being developed do not cover this EU field in their core curriculum, as their programmes limit EU-related topics to basic information on EU institutions and policies. As a result, they only have the opportunity to hear the introduction to the EU, and even this is limited to BA students of political science programmes. Secondly, as the generations of young people in Slovenia are shrinking, policy-makers need to develop answers to very pressing questions about the reasons, the consequences and how to deal with them.
