The Vesna Fund is the first regional deeptech fund aimed at promoting the development and launch of scientific and technological innovations in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, energy, healthcare, biomaterials, cybersecurity, and many others (with the exception of medical research).

They will invest in both early-stage innovations (TRL3-4) and companies that are already entering the market.

The project is already creating success stories, as the platform has significantly contributed to the success of the University of Ljubljana spin-off company, Elogium Probiotics, where researchers from the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana are also involved.
