Milena Kalaacunn obtained her Master’s degree in management in administration from the Faculty of Administration in Ljubljana in 2013. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the media (digital, television and print), as well as experience in human resource management.

She began her career as a journalist and editor at TV Pika in 2004. Two years later she became editor-in-chief of the RTV Slovenija multimedia site, a role she later performed for the Žurnal24 online newspaper and the slovenskenovice.si site, which is part of the Delo newspaper publishing house.

In 2013 she took the decision to change career, becoming a business consultant at TS Media and setting up her own creative solutions agency, Hubmedia, d.o.o., where she remains general director. Last year she opened another company, Milena Kalaacunn, s.p., which is involved in organising exhibitions, fairs and conferences.

In the course of her career, she has worked with media outlets abroad, including the Croatian newspapers 24sata, Večernji list and Jutarnji list, HTV (Croatia), the Austrian newspapers Die Presse, Kleine Zeitung and Wirtschaftsblatt, the Daily Telegraph Integrated Newsroom in the UK, and Blick in Switzerland.
