Graduate of the Department of Textile and Clothing Design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering (NTF) in Ljubljana, stylist, and writer and editor on topics relating to beauty, fashion and lifestyle.

Petra Windschnurer started her career as a fashion journalist after graduating from NTF, and in 2000 began editing the fashion, beauty and décor pages of weekly and monthly magazines, including Lisa, Lisa Moje Stanovanje and Pepita.

She soon rose through the ranks to become fashion and beauty editor of Elle, where she has worked for the last 13 years. In addition to helming the magazine, Petra is also involved in designing and producing special lifestyle editions, supplements, sales catalogues and promotional material. She is a guest writer for the glitter.si and butfirstshoes.com websites, and occasional lecturer at the Faculty of Design and Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. She also set up her own blog, Petra Windschnurer, in 2015, offering views on all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

Petra is well known to the general public as a stylist and fashion expert, and makes frequent appearances in the media as an opinion-former.
