For students and young architects/designers who wish to study/work at the Faculty of Architecture (next year, ALUO again) at the University of Ljubljana during the 2026 academic semester, preferably from the former Yugoslavia.

The accommodation scholarship covers rent and ongoing costs of the apartment for the academic semester (2026), from February 15 to June 30, 2026.
Grega Košak Scholarship
This scholarship aims to encourage exchanges with architectural and design faculties, primarily from countries of the former Yugoslavia. It is an accommodation scholarship that covers rent and living expenses in an apartment located in the center of Ljubljana. It is awarded alternately to the Faculty of Architecture and ALUO for the academic semester and provides housing for 2–4 people.
Who can apply?
The Grega Košak Scholarship is available to talented students and young architects/designers who wish to study/work at the Faculty of Architecture (or ALUO in 2027) during the 2026 spring academic semester, preferably from the former Yugoslavia. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 8.5.
About architect Grega Košak
Architect Grega Košak (1932–2023) was involved in various fields, from graphic design, exhibition design, architecture, to urban planning. He was the author of corporate identities for Adria Airways, Ljubljana Airport, Mercator, Zmaj, Emono, Formo Vivo, the Technical Museum of Slovenia, and Genex, as well as buildings such as Motel Grosuplje, Ilirija, and the Ljubljana Printing House, and the Mercator complex. As a public intellectual, he was active professionally and socially, serving as president of DOS and DAL, and as a representative of international associations ICOGRADA, UIA, and ICSID. In his teaching career, he lectured as an associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture from the »B Direction« onward, as well as at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. For his professional work, he received numerous awards at architectural competitions, the Prešeren Fund Award, BIO awards, and two »Borba« awards.
