"The Summer School in French and European Law is organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Poitiers. Each year, the programme is delivered by two visiting professors from Poitiers, who define the central theme of the summer school based on their research work.
The summer school focuses on contemporary legal issues within a selected field and provides students with direct engagement with international lecturers and diverse legal approaches. Particular emphasis is placed on discussion, the analysis of current challenges, and a comparative law perspective. The programme is also suitable for non-lawyers, especially for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the French language and French legal terminology.
In 2026, the summer school will be devoted to the topic Law in the Digital Age (Le droit à l'épreuve du numérique)."
