A world-renowned scientist, highly cited researcher and charismatic professor in the field of photovoltaics and a dedicated ambassador for sustainable development, Prof. Dr Christophe Ballif is a Full Professor at EPFL and Director of the Sustainable Energy Center at CSEM in Switzerland. Prof. Ballif has received numerous awards for his outstanding scientific and innovative achievements and pioneering work in the field of photovoltaics, and has been elected to the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences and made a corresponding member of the Slovenian Academy of Engineering.
