Domen Dekleva
Proposed by: Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana
Domen Dekleva, a student of the professional study programme in Forestry, was commended as the best first-year student for the 2020/21 academic year. He completed his studies with an average grade of 9.04. He is currently completing his traineeship and will soon take over the Jurjeva Dolina unit as a district forester.
Gaj Kušar
Proposed by: Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana
Gaj Kušar graduated in Biology with exceptional success, achieving an average grade of 9.71. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the Molecular and Functional Biology programme. He stands out for his research excellence, interdisciplinary approach, and contributions through publications and presentations at prestigious scientific and professional events.
Katarina Valentinčič

Katarina Valentinčič graduated in 2021 with a degree in Biotechnology, completing a thesis on environmental factors in the development of type 1 diabetes. She published an article in the Nova medicina journal and continued her studies in the master’s degree programme in Biotechnology. She was also active as a representative in the Bovčka student organisation.
Isidora Ivanović

Isidora Ivanović completed her undergraduate studies with an average grade of 9.83. She received commendations for academic excellence in every year of study, as well as recognition for her overall academic performance. She attended summer and autumn schools and was part of the organisational team for the All-nighter hackathon.
Tamara Milinković

Nuša Detiček

Nuša Detiček completed her master’s degree with an average grade of 9.93. During her studies, she served as a tutor, councillor and senator. She participated in the projects Gender Representation in Slovenian Media and Mapping Media for Future Democracies. She also received the Hanno Hardt Award for outstanding academic achievement.
Lara Štrokaj

Lara Štrokaj completed her master’s degree studies with an average grade of 9.73. Helena Domajnko

Helena Domajnko completed her studies in Electrical Engineering with an average grade of 9.6. Jaša Vid Meh Peer

Beno Učakar

Matej Urbas

Matej Urbas completed his university studies in Computer and Information Science with an average grade of 9.4 and a diploma thesis grade of 10. His thesis addressed the problem of semantic segmentation of driving scenes for autonomous vehicles. On the 60th anniversary of Anton Sovre’s death, Matic Kristan independently prepared an exhibition dedicated to the classical philologist and translator. Ajda Bojnec

Ajda Bojnec is deeply committed to volunteer work. She has served as a tutor to younger students for four years, is a long-time member of the scouting movement, and an active athlete. In her free time, she helps children with special needs and provides childcare for the youngest children. She successfully balances all these activities with her studies, maintaining an impressive average grade of 9.48.
Lara Koci

Nur Živa Kranjec

Nur Živa Kranjec achieved the highest average grade of 9.72. She completed parallel studies in Translation with an average grade of 9.67. She is a member of the Prosvetno društvo Horjul cultural and educational society, and an active participant in a majorette and twirling group. She is a national judge in this field, and has served as the head of the judging panel of the Majorette and Twirling Association of Slovenia since 2023.
Kristijan Briški

Angela Jakljič has received four commendations for the best academic performance at the Veterinary Faculty, University of Ljubljana.
