University teacher: Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Full Professor in Environmental planning (M/F)

• Status: half-time, 20 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS:

• doctoral degree (previous)
• doctoral degree (Bologna level 3)
• teaching habilitation according to the rules of University of Ljubljana (Assistant Professor /Associate Professor / Full Professor) in Environmental planning or proof of fulfilment of requirements with a statement that such a habilitation is envisaged. The candidate fulfils the condition if he / she has a valid UL title or the valid title of the Guest teacher at UL. If, at the time of application, the candidate does not hold one of the abovementioned titles, but he / she meets the qualitative and quantitative conditions for election to these titles, he / she can apply for the job vacancy, in which  case, together with the application, he / she shall also provide evidence of compliance with the above criteria, accompanied by a statement that, in the event of a decision by the selection committee, the application shall also be considered as an application for election to the title or for recognition of the equivalence of the title.

• proficiency of Slovenian and English language;
• preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge and competencies in agricultural land, agrohydrology, agro- and hydromelioration, the impact of agriculture on the environment, and water quality.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• designing and updating curricula and adapting university and higher education study programmes to specific requirements,
• organising or co-organising all course-related activities in accordance with the curriculum and the findings of the profession, coordinating the work and supervising the work of other course staff (teaching assistants, technicians, etc.),
• lecturing, conducting seminars and other pedagogical activities related to the course in undergraduate study programmes, 
• directing research work and student activities, mentoring students, supervising theses,
