Call for application for Mentorship Mobility Program within and for EUTOPIA_HEALTH consortium

This call invites applications from Research Managers with any level of experience and working in any research management areas (pre-award, post-award, innovation, communication, infrastructure, policy, open science, data management, etc.) across all Health-related academic disciplines and topics, employed within University of Ljubljana (UL). Applicants must have participated in the EUTOPIA_HEALTH Training Program for Research Managers: Advancing Institutional Excellence and should not have previously received a grant for a Mentorship Mobility within the EUTOPIA_HEALTH project. Before submitting an application, applicants are required to identify one tutor from the Consortium, whose 
service and/or role align with their objectives.  

Mentorship Mobility Program will provide a total of 18 mobilities, for a total of 18 RM from Widening universities. The Mentorship Mobility lasts one month but can be split into two shorter on-site periods 15 days each, as long as they are both completed within six months counting from the beginning of the first mobility period. Accepted Mentorship Mobilities will be funded by the research managers’ home university, as outgoing Research Management mobilities. Mentorship Mobility awards cover accommodation, travel, and living expenses up to 4000 EUR. Each university will apply its own expenditure policies.

The current call will provide three Mentorship Mobilities for the University of Ljubljana. Applicants are required to submit a single PDF file containing: 

• Application form (Annex 1): describing the goal of the proposed mobility, justification for the choice of the Host Institution/tutor, areas of knowledge and best practices sharing, as well as the planned activities, timeframe and expected budget. Furthermore, the applicant should explain how these activities align with the development of the applicant’s career plan and how the Mentorship Mobility and, more specifically, the tutor will contribute to an increased connectedness within the Research Management areas of the Consortium.
• Letter of institutional support (template provided in the Annex 2):  signed by the hierarchical responsible of the corresponding Academic/Research Unit, confirming that the applicant is authorized to undertake the mobility during the specified period.
• Letter of Invitation from the host institution (1 page): signed by the tutor and an authorized representative of the Host Institution, confirming that the Mentorship Mobility can be undertaken on the given dates, and acknowledging that the proposed activities as feasible within the indicated timeline.  
• A full CV (max. 3 pages) including achievements related to the Research Management field and involvement in Health-related projects.
