Job vacancy: RESEARCHER (DM code: H017004, m/f), for a fixed term from 1. 5. 2026 to 31.7. 2028 with full (100%) working time (40 hours per week), to work on the project "Climate-resilient technologies for high-tech bioeconomy and green transition", which is implemented/financed within the framework of large interdisciplinary projects of the University of Ljubljana.

Conditions for performing work:

Required education (degree and field) according to title:

• specialization after higher education (previous) in the fields of - social sciences and behavioral sciences; business and administrative sciences; law; mathematics and statistics; information and communication sciences (ICT)
• Higher education (previous) in the fields of - social sciences and behavioral sciences; business and administrative sciences; law; mathematics and statistics; information and communication sciences (ICT)
• Master's degree (2nd Bologna cycle) in the fields of - social and behavioral sciences; business and administrative sciences; law; mathematics and statistics; information and communication sciences (ICT)

Valid habilitation title (title name and field of election):

Functional knowledge and other requirements (professional exam, skills and language):

• innovation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills

Responsibility for own work, supervision of other workers and work equipment:

• for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of the work

Experimental work:

• 3 months.

Brief description of work and tasks:

• scientific research work and professional research work,
• professional cooperation with clients of research tasks,
• preparing written reports and studies on research and expertise,
• participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies,
• preparing proposals for the procurement of research equipment, equipment maintenance and ordering consumables,
• performing tasks in their field as instructed by the head of the organizational unit and other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the job.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• education in the field of economics and business sciences or computer science and engineering;
• higher level of education achieved;
• demonstrated research skills (bibliography);
• candidates with a habilitation/research title;
• candidates with experience in the project area;
• with the ability to conduct empirical analysis, use data analysis tools (R, Stata, Python or others);
• knowledge of using MS Office or similar;
• with the ability to prepare and present analyses
