Job vacancy:

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, DM code: H019007 (m/f), for a fixed term until 30. 9. 2025 with reduced (25%) working hours (10 hours per week) on the project "UL for a Sustainable Society - ULTRA; within the framework of the pilot project ULTRA@AGRIFOOD: knowledge, skills and competences for a sustainable, climate-neutral and circular food system ". The expected date of employment is in January 2025. Work on the project UL for a Sustainable Society - ULTRA is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union - NextGenerationEU. The project is implemented within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

Conditions for performing work:

Required education (degree and field) according to title:

• PhD (previous) in the field of economics, business or information sciences
• PhD (3rd Bologna degrees) in the field of economics, business or information sciences

Valid habilitation title (title name and field of election):

• Research associate
• The candidate fulfils the condition if he / she has a valid UL title or a valid UL research associate title. If the candidate does not have an election to the above titles at the time of application, but meets the quantitative and qualitative conditions for election to these titles, he may apply for the announced position and in this case submit evidence of meeting the above criteria and attach a statement of consent that in case of a decision of the selection committee, the application is also considered as an application for election to a title or for recognition of a title

Brief description of work and tasks:

• scientific research work
• organizing, coordinating, planning and monitoring work in research activities (within the research group)
• connecting research activities with other research institutions
• participation in the design of research programs and participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies
• professional cooperation with clients of research tasks
• preparing reports and research studies
• ensures the safe and healthy work of the unit's workers and students, appropriate education and training of persons who come into contact with hazardous substances, the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the job

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Preparation of online materials for students using open-source solutions
• Pedagogical experience
• Research experience
