UL member: School of economics and business, Kardeljeva ploščad 17, 1000 Ljubljana, announces job vacancy:
Research associate (code DM: H019007, m/f), for a fixed period of time from 1. 7. 2026 to 31. 5. 2029 with full-time (100%) working hours (40 hours per week). Research work will be carried out in the field of the project: » Flux 4.0 – Obvladovanje tokov za trajnostni turizem« (TRL 3–6).«.
Conditions for carrying out the work:
- Required education (level and direction) according to the title:
- PhD (previous) in a relevant field
- PhD (3rd Bologna degrees) in a relevant field
Valid habilitation title:
- Research Associate and/or Assistant Professor
- The candidate fulfils the condition if they have a valid UL title or a valid UL research associate title. If the candidate does not have an election to the above titles at the time of application, but meets the quantitative and qualitative conditions for election to these titles, they may apply for the announced position and in this case submit evidence of meeting the above criteria and attach a statement of consent that in case of a decision of the selection committee, the application is also considered as an application for election to a title or for recognition of a title

- for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of other works

Trial work: 4. months
Brief description of work and tasks:
- scientific research work
- organizing, coordinating, planning and monitoring the work of the research activity (within the research group)
- linking research activities with other research institutions
- participation in the design of research programs and participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies
- professional cooperation with clients of research assignments
- preparation of research reports and studies
- takes care of the safe and healthy work of employees and students of the unit, for the appropriate education and training of persons who come into contact with hazardous substances, the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures
- performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the workplace
