Job vacancy: RESEARCHER, Job Code: H017004 (M/F) – (1 position); for a fixed period until 31/12/2025 with shorter (20%) working hours (8 hours per week) to work on the "UL for a sustainable society - ULTRA" project. The expected date of employment is 1^st February 2025. The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union - NextGenerationEU. The project is implemented under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

The research work will be carried out on the project: "6.03 Environmental technologies for climate change mitigation and adaptation"

Status: full-time (20% employment – 8 hours a week)

Type of contract: fixed time till 31^th December 2025

Conditions for carrying out the work:

Required education (level and direction) according to the title:

• specialization in higher education (previous) in the field of business and economics
• higher university education (previous) in the field of business and economics
• Master's degree (2nd Bologna degree) in the field of business and economics

Valid habilitation :

•  /

Functional knowledge and other requirements (professional exam, skills and language):

• innovation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills

Responsibility for own work, supervision of other workers and means of work:

• for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of other works
• for equipment or work equipment

Work experience: /

Trial work: 3 month

Brief description of work and tasks: 

• scientific research work 
• professional cooperation with clients of research assignments 
• preparation of research reports and studies 
• participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies 
• preparation of proposals for the procurement of research equipment, maintenance of equipment and procurement of consumables,
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the workplace 

Preference will be given to candidates with: 

• with the ability to collaborate on projects,
• experience in producing expert analyses.
• with the ability to conduct scientific research
