Job vacancy: RESEARCHER, Job Code: H017004 (M/F) – (1 position); for a fixed period until 31. 1. 2032 with working hours (40 hours per week) to work on the project “Life4Adapt”. LIFE4ADAPT - LIFE Prilagodimo se podnebnim spremembam | GOV.SI

The expected date of employment is 1. 10. 2025.

The research work will be carried out on the project: Life4Adapt (https://www.gov.si/zbirke/projekti-in-programi/life4adapt/)

Status: full time (employment – 40 hours a week)

Type of contract: fixed time till January 31 2032

Conditions for carrying out the work:

Required education (level and direction) according to the title:

• specialization in higher education (previous) in the field of business and economics;
• higher university education (previous) in the field of business and economics;
• Master's degree (2nd Bologna degree) in the field of business and economics.

Valid habilitation :

Functional knowledge and other requirements (professional exam, skills and language):

• innovation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills

Responsibility for own work, supervision of other workers and means of work:

• for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of other works
• for equipment or work equipment

Work experience: /

Trial work: 3 month

Brief description of work and tasks: 

• scientific research work
• professional cooperation with clients of research assignments
• preparation of research reports and studies
• participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies
• preparation of proposals for the procurement of research equipment, maintenance of equipment and procurement of consumables,
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the workplace

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• demonstrated experience in the field of organizing teamwork and implementing projects;
• demonstrated references in the field of research and professional work;
• demonstrated knowledge in the field of adaptation to climate conditions;
• relevant knowledge in the field of data analytics.
