Job vacancy: Researcher, Job Code: H017004 (M/F) – (1 position); for a fixed period until March 31, 2026 with full (100 %) working hours (40 hours per week) to work on the project: "Introduction of breakthrough technologies in Slovenian companies: Challenges and opportunities”. The expected date of employment is 1. 1. 2026.

The research work will be carried out on the project: "Introduction of breakthrough technologies in Slovenian companies: Challenges and opportunities«.

Status: fulltime ( 100 % employment – 40 hours a week)

Type of contract: fixed time till March 31, 2026.

Conditions for carrying out the work:

Required education (level and direction) according to the title:

• specialization in higher education (previous) in the field of social science
• higher university education (previous) in the field of social science
• Master's degree (2nd Bologna degree) in the field of social science

Valid habilitation :

Functional knowledge and other requirements (professional exam, skills and language):

• innovation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills

Responsibility for own work, supervision of other workers and means of work:

• for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of other works
• for equipment or work equipment

Work experience: /

Trial work: • 3 month

Brief description of work and tasks: 

• scientific research work
• professional cooperation with clients of research assignments
• preparation of research reports and studies
• participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies
• preparation of proposals for the procurement of research equipment, maintenance of equipment and procurement of consumables,
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the workplace

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• experience in project work
• experience in preparing professional or scientific materials
• demonstrated professional work (technical assistance) in a higher education or research institution
• experience in organizing events related to the dissemination of research work
• functional knowledge and other requirements (soft skills and language proficiency)
