Job vacancy: RESEARCHER, Job Code: H017004 (M/F) – (1 position); scientific research work on the project: "UL for a sustainable society - ULTRA". Estimated date of employment is 1 November 2024. Project co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union - NextGenerationEU. The project is implemented within the framework of the Recovery and Prevention Mechanism. 

The research work will be carried out on the project: "Pilot: Sustainable space, Pilot project: Concept of sustainable development of the University of Ljubljana (4.01)"

Status: full-time (10% employment – 4 hours a week)

Type of contract: fixed time from 1^st November 2023 till 31^st December 2025

Conditions for carrying out the work:

Required education (level and direction) according to the title:

• specialization in higher education (previous) in the field of – economy; business sciences
• higher university education (previous) in the field of – economy; business sciences
• Master's degree (2nd Bologna degree) in the field of – economy; business sciences

Valid habilitation :

• /

Functional knowledge and other requirements (professional exam, skills and language):

• innovation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills

Responsibility for own work, supervision of other workers and means of work:

• for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of other works
• for equipment or work equipment

Work experience: /

Trial work: • 3 month

Brief description of work and tasks: 

• scientific research work 
• professional cooperation with clients of research assignments 
• preparation of research reports and studies 
• participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies 
• preparation of proposals for the procurement of research equipment, maintenance of equipment and procurement of consumables,
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader professional field of the workplace 

Preference will be given to candidates with:

•  experience and knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship and sustainability.
