UL Member: School of Economics and Business, announces job vacancy:

Researcher

• Job Code: H017004 (M/F) – (1 position);
• The expected date of employment is 15. 11. 2026
• The research work will be carried out on the project: Life4Adapt
• Status: full-time (employment – 40 hours a week)
• Type of contract: fixed time till 31^st January 2032

Conditions for carrying out the work:

• Required education (level and direction) according to the title:
  • specialization in higher education (previous) in the field of business and economics;
  • higher university education (previous) in the field of business and economics;
  • Master's degree (2nd Bologna degree) in the field of business and economics.
• Valid habilitation :/

• Functional knowledge and other requirements (professional exam, skills and language):
  • innovation, ability to work in a team, communication skills, organizational skills
•  Responsibility for own work, supervision of other workers and means of work:
  • for the course and results of the research and for the professional and timely execution of other works
  • for equipment or work equipment
• Work experience: /
• Trial work: 3 months

Brief description of work and tasks: 

• scientific research work and professional work on the project “Life4Adapt”,
• professional cooperation with the contracting authority / client of the research project “Life4Adapt”,
• preparation of written reports and studies related to the project “Life4Adapt”,
• preparation of proposals for the procurement of research equipment, maintenance of equipment and procurement of consumables, required for the project “Life4Adapt”,
• performance of tasks within the employee’s area of expertise as assigned by the head of the organizational unit, as well as other tasks falling within the broader professional scope of the position.

Preference will be given to a candidate with:

• demonstrated experience in the field of organizing teamwork and implementing projects;
• demonstrated references in the field of research and professional work;
• demonstrated interest to work in the field of adaptation to climate conditions;
• relevant knowledge in the field of data analytics.
