EUTOPIA, Call for Applications to Participate in the "Impact School 2026" Program
The EUTOPIA Alliance and the University of Ljubljana are announcing three openings for postdoctoral researchers to participate in the “Impact School 2026,” where participants will learn techniques for improving the communication of their scientific work; the program is also designed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience, create networking opportunities, and foster potential professional collaborations.

The “Impact School 2026” program will take place in person in Berlin as part of a five-day educational workshop to be held from September 14 to 18, 2026. The program is organized by the Technical University of Dresden, which will cover accommodation and meal expenses. The University of Ljubljana will cover the travel expenses of the selected candidates. The official language of the program is English.
Eligibility
Three postdoctoral researchers from any field of research who are regularly employed at the University of Ljubljana (at least 20%) are eligible to participate in the “Impact School 2026” program. Prior knowledge or experience in a specific topic or sector is not required.
The selected candidate must hold the aforementioned status at the time of application and during the event. The candidate must promptly notify their home institution of any changes in status.
How to apply
Applicants should submit their application, including a brief CV in English and a cover letter in English (up to 250 words), to the email address eutopia.student@uni-lj.si with the subject line “Impact School 2026”.
The deadline for submitting applications is June 14, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. An application is considered timely if the University of Ljubljana receives it before the deadline expires. Incomplete and late applications will be rejected, and unfounded applications will be denied.
Candidates will be notified of the selection by June 16, and the deadline for confirming participation is June 19.
