CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Physics/Mathematics or other relevant fields (foreign documents may be used in the Republic of Slovenia if they are duly certified in the country of origin, in accordance with the Act on the Legalization of Documents in International Traffic; documents issued in the states that signed the Hague Convention of abolishing the Requirement of Legalization of Foreign Public Documents must be certified with the Apostille stamp),
• Postdoctoral researchers include researchers who have successfully defended their PhD thesis but have not yet officially obtained their doctorate certificate - a certificate of defence is sufficient,
• Fulfilment of the other conditions for the conclusion of the training funding contract in relation to the international call and the conditions of the international funding,

The applicant has not been actively working (working, studying) in Slovenia for more than 12 months in the last three years.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• research work on an international project (MSCA COFUND SMASH (Machine Learning for Sciences and Humanities)),
• organise, coordinate, plan and monitor research activities,
• link research activities with other research institutions,
• perform the work as directed by the person directly responsible (project manager),
• perform other work as specified in the job description.
