CONDITIONS FOR THE POSITION:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Physics or other relevant fields (foreign documents may be used in the Republic of Slovenia if they are duly certified in the country of origin, in accordance with the Act on the Legalization of Documents in International Traffic; documents issued in the states that signed the Hague Convention of abolishing the Requirement of Legalization of Foreign Public Documents must be certified with the Apostille stamp).
• The title of assistant or assistant researcher in the field of Physics or other relevant fields at the University of Ljubljana. The employee must meet this condition no later than 4 months from the beginning of employment.
• B2 knowledge of Slovenian according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is proven by a certificate (if the selected candidate doesn't have the knowledge of the Slovenian language, she/he has to gain it in three years from the employment start date).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Scientific research and professional work in research: ERC QUEST.
• Professional cooperation with clients of research assignments.
• Preparation of written reports and studies on research and expertise.
• Participation in undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
• Preparing proposals for the procurement of research equipment, equipment maintenance, and the procurement of consumables.
• Performing tasks from their field, according to the order of the head of the organizational unit, and other tasks that are substantively part of the broader professional field of the position.
