1.    Vacant one (1) post: Senior Research Fellow (H019008) in the Laboratory for Data Sciences

Employment for: a definite period from 2 February 2025 do 31 December 2025 with part-time work (50%).

2.    Conditions for the position:

a)    Required education:

• PhD degree (the previous one) in computer science, information systems and technologies or relevant technical disciplines,
• PhD degree (the third Bologna cycle) in computer science, information systems and technologies or relevant technical disciplines;

b)    valid habilitation title of senior research fellow or professor;

c)    functional skills: innovation skills, communication skills, work organization abilities.

3.    Short job description

General description:

• scientific research,
• organising, coordinating, planning and monitoring work in research activities (within a research group),
• integration of research activities with other research institutions,
•  participation in the design of research programmes and undergraduate and postgraduate studies,
• professional cooperation with research task clients,
• preparation of research reports and studies,
• care for a safe and healthy work of the unit's employees and students, appropriate education and instruction of those who come into contact with dangerous substances, the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures.

Detailed description:

• design and implementation of research in the field of generative models and interpretation in artificial intelligence,
• preparation of reports and professional and scientific articles,
• promotion of project results,
• mentoring.
