Vacant one (1) post: Research Associate (H019007) in the Laboratory for Machine-Learning and Language Technologies

Employment for: A definite period from 1 December, 2024, do 30 September, 2027, with part-time work (50 %).

Conditions for the position:

• Required education:
  • PhD degree (previous one) in computer science, information systems and technologies or relevant technical disciplines,
  • PhD degree (third Bologna cycle) in computer science, information systems and technologies or relevant technical disciplines;
• valid habilitation title of research associate,
• functional skills: innovation skills, communication skills, work organization abilities.

Short job description

General description:

• scientific research,
• organising, coordinating, planning and monitoring work in research activities (within a research group),
• integration of research activities with other research institutions,
• participation in the design of research programmes and undergraduate and postgraduate studies,
• professional cooperation with research task clients,
• preparation of research reports and studies,
• care for a safe and healthy work of the unit's employees and students, appropriate education and instruction of those who come into contact with dangerous substances, the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures,
• performing other tasks that fall within the broader scope of the position.

Detailed description:

• performing tasks on the project as ordered by project coordinators and the head of the organisation unit,
• independently performing professional tasks in the field of work,
• preparation of reports, conclusions and views of the field of work,
• coordination, monitoring and implementation of procedures within the field of work,
• monitoring of information and innovations in the field of work,
• performing the duties of a researcher,
• performing tasks in their field of work as ordered by the project manager and other tasks that fall within the broader scope of the position.
